System Performance and Quality

When it comes to improving our health care system, it is important to evaluate data such as usage rates, processes, outcomes and more. The quality of care delivered is also vital.

Much of Quality of Care NL’s evaluative research lead to our involvement in Health Accord NL, a provincial task force which set out to reimagine health and health care in our province starting in 2020. Quality of Care NL acted as secretariat for Health Accord NL, supporting the work of the volunteer task force operationally, and through membership on its various committees and working groups, until they delivered their final reports in June 2022.
