Healthy Discussions: Respiratory Conditions & Care

There is a high rate of respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Newfoundland and Labrador. Respiratory disease is often chronic and can be a major cause of mortality. However, timely care, support and access to the right tools can help patients self-manage and take control of their lung disease, leading to a better quality of life. The provincial Comprehensive Respiratory Care program is aimed at improving access to services and promoting lung health in NL. Join us to learn more and explore ways to avail of this program through another Healthy Discussion!
